Community Guidelines
The Short
We wish for T@book to remain a genuine and safe space for book enthusiasts and expression. Contribute to the growth of this community. Always post your content, and always follow the rules. Respect everyone on the platform by not spamming and don’t post nudity.
The Long
T@book’s primary purpose is to improve literacy and fulfill the need for educational entertainment. We aim to create a community of book enthusiasts that share their thoughts and assist each other.
Creators share their reading experiences through video insights and receive Pergamon coins in exchange. Our platform connects readers, creators, and the publishing industry.
With this community we want to make the members feel like they belong, not attempt to take that feeling away from them. We politely ask you to respect the privacy and safety of others.
T@book should not be used to support or glorify terrorism, organized crime, or hate groups. It is also illegal to offer sexual services, buy or sell firearms, alcohol, or tobacco products between private individuals, or buy or sell non-medical or pharmaceutical drugs. T@book also prohibits the sale of live animals between private individuals. Nobody may organize the poaching or sale of endangered species or their parts. We also remove content that attempts to trade, coordinates the trade of, donates, gifts, or asks for non-medical drugs, as well as content that admits to personal use (unless in the context of recovery) or coordinates or promotes non-medical drug use.
When offering to sell or buy other regulated goods, remember to always follow the law. When it comes to sharing sexual content involving minors or threatening to post intimate images of others, we have zero tolerance.
T@book prohibits anything that threatens the mental and physical health of minors. A minor is described as a person under the legal age of majority, which in most nations and areas is 18 years old.
Report content that violates this policy if you find it.
Any content that depicts abuse, exploitation, or endangerment of minors, including animation or digitally created or manipulated media, is a violation on our platform and will be removed if discovered. We report child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and supporting evidence to legal authorities as appropriate.
To use T@book, our users must be at least 18 years old, as specified in our Terms of Service. When an underage account is discovered, it is deleted.
T@book will take action against any content or accounts involving CSAM or minor sexual exploitation. Any abuse of a position of power or trust for sexual purposes, including profiting financially, socially, sexually, or politically from the exploitation of a minor, is considered sexual exploitation of minors. CSAM is defined as any visual depiction of a minor's sexually explicit nudity or conduct, whether captured by predatory adults, peers, or minors themselves.
We wish to create a welcoming and varied community. We eliminate anything that involves serious threats or hate speech, content that degrades or shames private persons, personal information intended to blackmail or harass someone, and repeated unwelcome messages.
Do not publish, upload, stream, or distribute the following:
It is never acceptable to incite violence or assault someone because of their race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, disabilities, or illnesses.
Encouraging or inciting individuals to embrace self-injury goes against our supportive atmosphere, and we will delete it or deactivate accounts if it is reported to us. We may also delete anything that identifies victims or survivors of self-injury if the content is intended to be offensive or humorous.
We attempt to help by giving instruction in the app and adding material to the Help Center so that individuals may receive the assistance they need.
We eliminate information that portrays suicide, includes suicidal thoughts, or may inspire suicidal or self-destructive conduct. We also eliminate information that shows suicide attempts or activity that might lead to self-inflicted death.
We prohibit any material that encourages, normalizes, or celebrates suicide, offers suicide instructions, or portrays suicide as heroic or respectable. Circumstances involving any incidence of a particular, credible, and impending danger of real-world damage to human life may be reported to law enforcement authorities.
Nudity and sexual activity include visibly revealing content of breasts, genitals, anus, or buttocks, as well as actions that simulate, insinuate, or exhibit sex activities.
We do not tolerate representations of nudity or sexual behavior, including digitally made or modified material. We are aware that certain material may be offensive or culturally insensitive in particular locations, or that it may not be acceptable for users of all ages.
Do not publish, upload, stream, or distribute the following:
We strongly oppose supporting violence on or off T@book. We prohibit users from using our platform to threaten or instigate violence, or to support violent extremist groups, persons, or activities.
We ban accounts when there is a danger to public safety or when they
are used to advocate or celebrate off-platform violence.
Do not publish, upload, stream, or distribute the following:
We do not permit acts that might jeopardize the integrity of our platform or our users' authenticity. We eliminate spam or phony interaction, impersonation, or deceptive information that causes severe damage from content or accounts.
We do not accept accounts that falsely represent another person or organization. When we confirm an impersonation allegation, we may ask the user to modify their profile or suspend their account.
Any material or behavior that aims to artificially boost popularity on the site is considered fake engagement. Any effort to manipulate the platform in order to improve engagement metrics is strictly prohibited.
Misleading information is defined as incorrect or false material. Regardless of purpose, we will delete disinformation that causes serious damage to people, our community, or the general public.
